CUBS HOST EASTVIEW IN DISTRICT GRIDIRON BATTLE

The Brenham Cubs are looking to make it back-to-back wins to kick off district play, when they host Eastview at Cubs Stadium.

Brenham (1-2/1-0) is coming off a 35-14 win last Friday at Leander Glenn, while the Patriots (1-2/1-0) are coming off a wild 42-35 win over Elgin.

Coach Eliot Allen says the Cubs worked extra hard this week coming off their first win…

The Cubs and Patriots have had two epic battles over the past two seasons: 35-30 in 2019 and 35-34 in 2018.

Allen says he expects nothing less this time around…

Kickoff is set for 7:00 at Cubs Stadium.  The game can be heard live on AM 1280 KWHI, FM 101.7 and www.kwhi.com, beginning with the Pre-Game Show at 6:30.
