BRENHAM EDF BEGINS BOARD DIRECTOR ELECTION PROCESS

  

The Brenham Economic Development Foundation (EDF) is beginning the election process for its board of directors.

Starting Sunday, ballots will be distributed to EDF members for the election of five directors to serve a three-year term from December 2020 through 2023.

Four current directors are eligible to serve another term.  Those include Mike Hopkins, Jr. of Mike Hopkins Distributing Company, Jimmy Lawhorn of Blue Bell Creameries, Barney Loesch of Thrivent Financial, and Melissa McCune of Baylor Scott and White.

Two additional nominees appear on the ballot: Clayton Collier of Collier Construction and Amanda Stolz of Seidel Schroeder Company.

The election will conclude on November 15th, and the results will be announced.

After December 1st, with the five newly elected directors, the remainder of the board will include Blake Brannon of Brannon Industrial Group, Chad Gerke of The Gerke Law Firm, Catherine Kenjura of Lacina and Kenjura, Tee Dippel of Brenham National Bank, Chris Cangelosi of Citizens State Bank, Darren Huckert of Garza EMC, Jarvis VanDyke of VanDyke Rankin, Jim Kolkhorst of Kolkhorst Foods, Matt Bentke of Bluebonnet Electric, Randy Hodde of Hodde Real Estate, and Trey Hardy of Germania Insurance.

Billy Holle of Seidel Schroeder Company will be retiring from the EDF after serving 11 years on the board of directors.
