BRENHAM ANGLERS COMPETE AT LAKE LIVINGSTON

The Texas High School Bass Association tournament on Lake Livingston was held on Saturday.

Brenham Anglers had 10 teams that fished in this event out of a total of 142 teams from the Houston division.  As a whole, Brenham Anglers placed 2^nd out of 23 schools/organizations.

Following are the teams that placed high enough for prizes:

1^st place:  Ian Cales/Braden Gaertner and boat captain Kenneth Gaertner  with 12.55 pounds which earned them a $2,000 scholarship

7^th place:  Colton Jaster/Brayden Derkowski  and boat captain Brian Smith with 9.51 pounds

19^th place: Tucker Wightman/Tryston Babich and boat captain Tony Wightman with 6.82 pounds
