BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO BEGIN STRATEGIC PLANNING DISCUSSION THURSDAY

  

The Brenham School Board will hold the first of a series of strategic planning meetings tomorrow (Thursday) to begin district vision planning.

The meeting will comprise of a “team of eight,” made up of trustees and Superintendent Dr. Tylor Chaplin, as the district revisits and potentially reevaluates its mission, vision, and beliefs.

This first meeting will include a spot analysis of where the district currently stands, along with a board trust survey to get trustees and the superintendent on the same page.

The second meeting, planned for Tuesday at Brenham Junior High School, will have about 35 community members present to give their ideas on the school district.

The meeting will be held tomorrow evening at 6 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.
