LOCAL OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR VETERANS DAY
Veterans Day is Wednesday and in observance local government offices will be closed.
Brenham City Hall and the Washington County Courthouse will be closed, as well as the Blue Bell Aquatic Center, Pet Adoption and Animal Services, Brenham Municipal Court, and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.
The Blue Bell Aquatic Center is closed temporarily until November 20th due to a recent positive COVID-19 case.
The City of Brenham Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will be open regular hours, and regular commercial trash pick-up will take place as usual. The Brenham/Washington County Visitor Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
KWHI will have the annual Veterans Day program Wednesday morning. This year, the program will originate from the KWHI studios at 10:45 a.m. due to COVID-19 regulations.
