CALDWELL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2021 PUTTING ON CHILI COOK-OFF, CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

  

Chili cookers and corn hole players can look forward to a pair of contests next weekend, hosted by the graduating class of Caldwell High School.

The senior class is holding a fundraiser chili cook-off and corn hole tournament next Saturday, November 21st at the Buddy and Edile Lightsey Covered Arena, located in Caldwell on Rodeo Drive between the Burleson County Fairgrounds and the SPJST Hall.

Check-in for the chili cook-off is from 8 to 8:30 a.m., with check-in for the corn hole tournament following at 10:30 a.m.  Chili teams can cook red chili or exotic chili, as well as jackpot beans.

Prizes will be given to the first, second and third place winners in the chili contest, and to the first and second place finishers in the corn hole tournament.

Sign-ups are $40 per team for the chili contest, $20 per team for the jackpot contest, and $50 per team for the corn hole tournament.  Entries are due by Sunday; any entries received after then will be charged late fees, except for the jackpot contest.

All proceeds will support Caldwell High School seniors for Project Graduation.  Social distancing and face masks will be required.
