WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO PURCHASE ENTRANCE SIGNS FOR EDS FACILITY
Washington County Commissioners will look to purchase entrance signs for the Engineering and Development Services facility at their meeting Tuesday.
Commissioners will consider granting the county engineer authority to purchase an internally lighted, double-sided sign for the main entrance and a non-lighted, single-sided sign for the truck entrance.
The projected cost for the two signs totals $15,327.
Also during court Tuesday, commissioners will canvass votes for the general election held on November 3rd. Unofficially, 17,524 voters cast ballots in Washington County for the election out of 24,029 registered voters, a 73 percent turnout.
Commissioners will also consider:
- Approval of the inmate payphone services amendment #6 and tablet services schedule through GTL Enhanced Services, LLC.
- Issuing requests for proposals for administrative services and requests for qualifications for engineering services related to the 2021-22 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).
- Formal notice for utility installation for a two-inch road board for a one-inch water line replacement at 761 West Briarwood in the Oak Hill Acres subdivision in Precinct Three.
- An amended plat for the Randle Hill Estates subdivision in Precinct Two.
- Approving the county engineer to advertise for sealed bids for drive bridge piling, fuel, oils, asphalts and emulsions, road construction materials, and steel products.
- Monthly reports from the Sheriff’s Office, EMS, E-911, and Veterans Service Officer.
Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse Annex.
