GRIMES COUNTY ENACTS BURN BAN
Due to the recent dry conditions, a fourth Brazos Valley county has enacted a burn ban.
As of 9:00 Wednesday morning, Grimes County is under a burn ban until further notice.
All outdoor burning is prohibited. The move comes after a number of grass fires in the county over the past week.
Grimes County joins Lee, Madison and Walker counties who all have active burn bans in effect.
