BRENHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT TO OFFER “OPERATION PORCH GUARD”

With Christmas approaching and more people ordering packages online, especially with COVID, the Brenham Police Department will be offering a special service to combat the theft of these packages.  “Operation Porch Guard” will allow Brenham residents to have their Holiday packages delivered to the Police Department and allow residents to safely pick them up there.

Participants can address packages to: Your name and phone number on the top line, Brenham Police Department, 1800 Longwood Drive, Brenham, TX 77833. The police department will store packages received for up to three days and packages must weigh under 50 pounds. The name of the person picking up the package must match the name on the top line of the mailing label and a government issued ID card or driver’s license and an order/shipment proof of receipt must be presented. Face coverings are also required during pick up at the police station. Packages can only be picked up during regular business hours at the police station, Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.

Pickups will begin November 30 and will continue through December 22.  Questions about “Operation Porch Guard” may be directed to the Brenham Police Department at 979-337-7337.

  1. Awesome service!
Thank you to Brenham PD and all the police around the country.
The national media turned their back on you, but you still have plenty of support. Thank you.
