TWO CALDWELL MEN ARRESTED FOR COLLEGE STATION SHOOTING
College Station police have arrested two Caldwell men who they say are responsible for a shooting at an apartment complex in November.

20-year-old Melvin Parker and 19-year-old Treyvon Scyrus were booked Monday into the Brazos County Jail, each charged with two counts of Deadly Conduct.
Investigators say the shooting occurred November 15th at the Landmark on Longmire apartments in the 2300 block of Longmire Drive. According to police, Parker was at the apartments to visit a friend, but after several residents made rude comments, he left to pick up Scyrus and another man from Caldwell.
Police say once the three came back to the apartments, they drove by and shot at the residents Parker encountered earlier. Those residents fired back, hitting the third member of their group. That person was taken to the hospital.
