DEADLINE MONDAY TO ENTER FORTNIGHTLY CLUB HOLIDAY DECORATING CONTEST

Today (Monday) is the last day for Brenham residents to enter the Fortnightly Club of Brenham’s annual Christmas Home and Door Decorating Contest.

All homes within city limits are invited to show off their holiday decorations by entering the free contest. Yard signs will be awarded to the first and second place finishers in each category.

Contestants can choose to enter into one of three categories: “Traditional – Fun,” “Traditional – Elegant,” or “Religious.” They can be judged by yard and door, by yard only, or by door only.

All registered entries will be judged after 5:30 p.m. on December 15^th and 16^th. Winners will be announced within one week of the final judging.

To enter a home into the competition, call committee member Kathryn Seifert at 979-277-5893, and provide the participant’s name, address, phone number, and decoration category.
