FIRE DEPARTMENT CALLED OUT TO DUMPSTER FIRE AND ACCIDENT
The Brenham Fire Department was called out to a late-afternoon dumpster fire, Thursday.
At about 4:30 the department responded to a report of a fire at Austin Place Apartments, in the 2300 block of South Austin St.
A dumpster was fully involved in flames upon arrival. Fire Fighters quickly extinguished the fire.
Just before 10:00 p.m. the Department responded to a report of a crash at 1309 Prairie Lee St. near the feeder road of US 290 West.
Department personnel was advised there was no entrapment and that EMS was treating a patient.
Fire fighters stayed on scene for traffic control and Scene safety.
