WASHINGTON CO. PECAN SHOW RESULTS ANNOUNCED

  

The winners of the Washington County Horticulture Committee’s Pecan Show on December 3rd have been announced.

Pecans from across Washington County and several neighboring counties were evaluated for quality and a variety of characteristics to determine the best pecan in each category, division, and overall.  Washington County producers submitted 67 of the 74 entries judged at this year’s show.

Winning entries will advance to the East Region Pecan Show January 11-13, 2021, where they will be judged by a panel of pecan experts at Texas A&M University in College Station.
