BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

A Brenham man faces numerous charges after his arrest this past weekend.
Just before 7:00, Saturday night, police were called to a disturbance in the 800 block of Pleasantview Ave.
A victim at the scene claimed they were assaulted by 51-year old Roman Palomarez of Brenham.
Palomarez was located at Hattie Mae Flowers Park. He was found in possession of methamphetamines as well as drug paraphernalia.
Palomarez was taken into custody for Possession of Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Assault Family Violence.
