CUBS POSTPONE MORE BASKETBALL GAMES
The Brenham Cubs boys basketball team has post-poned more games.
Friday, the Cubs (4-6/0-1) abruptly called off their district contest with Magnolia, less than an hour before the scheduled tip off.
Late Monday morning, KWHI was informed the re-scheduled contest with A&M Consolidated, which was post-poned earlier, had been called off once-again.
When asked if the game was being played, Cubs' head coach Quintin Mason issued a short reply, "We’re halting all activities for now."
That also includes Tuesday's scheduled non-district game at Wharton.
The Cubs' next scheduled game is next Wednesday (12/30) at home to Bryan.
The Cubettes (1-9/0-4) are set to resume play next Monday (12/28) at home to Waller.
