WALLER CO. GOLF COURSE WORKER KILLED IN CART ACCIDENT
Authorities in Waller County have recovered the body Monday morning of a golf course groundkeeper after his death, while at work.
A dive team was called out to The Clubs at Houston Oaks on Hegar Road in Hockley.
According to officials, the groundskeeper was using an ATV while setting up tee markers around the course.
At one point, the vehicle apparently became stuck on a large rock, and when the worker tried to back up to free the vehicle, it lurched backward and ended up in the water.
The man’s body was then later pulled from the pond.
The victim was reportedly in his 60s. His name has not been publicly released.
