PLANE RETURNS TO NAVASOTA AIRPORT WITH MECHANICAL PROBLEMS
No one was injured Monday afternoon when a small airplane made an emergency landing at the Navasota Municipal Airport.
Authorities said there was a mechanical issue with the plane as it landed and the landing gear did not deploy.
A spokesperson with the FAA said only one person was on board the plane when it happened.
According to officials, the plane left the airport just after 3:00 p.m. and traveled northeast before making a U-turn and returning to Navasota.
