BURN BAN LIFTED IN LEE CO.
NO BURNING IF WINDS ARE AT OR OVER 5 MPH
Lee County is no longer under a burn ban.
Lee County Judge Paul Fischer on Friday lifted the county’s burn ban effective at 8 a.m. this (Saturday) morning.
However, residents are advised to use extreme caution when burning, and are told to not burn if winds are 5 miles per hour or more.
Much of the region is now without a burn ban, as Milam County is now the only county in the area with an active burn ban.
