The public is invited to hear updates on the Mill Creek Watershed Protection Plan at tonight’s meeting, which will be held via Zoom from 6 to 7 p.m.
Participants will be able to discuss local water quality issues and meet the new Watershed Coordinator, Evgenia Spears.
The Mill Creek Watershed Partnership was formed in 2014 by stakeholders who wished to take voluntary actions to improve water quality.
Mill Creek is formed by two branches, the east and west forks of Mill Creek in southwest Washington County which unite near Bellville to form the main stem. Mill Creek then flows 14 miles southeast where it merges with the Brazos River.
