LOCAL GYMNASTS EARN MEDALS IN T.A.A.F. WINTER GAMES

 

Velocity Gymnastics competed in the TAAF Winter Games in Richardson this weekend.

The Bronze Team opened the weekend with solid routines.  Molly Felder finished 3rd place in All Around.

The Silver Team also had solid routines.  Blakely Kalkhake placed 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Vault and finished 4th in All-Around.  Jillian Martinez placed 2nd on Vault and finished 5th in All-Around. Gabriella Brannon placed 2nd on Bard and finished 6th in All-Around.

The Gold Team took 1st Place in the Small Team Division.  Lucy Hoeschle won her division placing 1st on Vault and Beam and placing 2nd on Floor.  Addie Bogan placed 3rd on Vault, Lindsey Anderson placed 4th on Vault and Floor. Julia Martinez competed in the Platinum Division.  She swept her division winning 1st place on all events and taking the All-Around Gold medal.

The girls will be back in action at the Biles Invitational this weekend in Spring Texas.
