COLLEGE STATION OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING UNDER INVESTIGATION

  

Authorities in College Station are investigating an officer-involved shooting, early Thursday morning.

Police were called to College Station Ford, in the 1300 block of Earl Rudder Freeway, shortly before 1:00 a.m.

Preliminary information from College Station Police says one suspect was shot shortly after they arrived.  No officers were wounded.

The extent of the suspect’s injuries and further information has not been released—including the identity of the suspect.

The Highway 6 northbound service road is closed from Harvey Road to University Drive, and is expected to remain closed throughout much of the morning.
