Maude Browning was admitted to the Bellville Medical Center (BMC) after her family said she was not eating or feeling well.  She soon received a diagnosis of both COVID-19 and pneumonia.

Browning was given IVs and breathing treatments during her time at the hospital.  After a six-day stay at the hospital, she was discharged.

Browning’s daughters credit her faith and willpower for her survival, along with community and family.  They also thank the BMC staff for their efforts in taking care of her.

Browning, who has 13 children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, turns 104 in April.
