SEVEN SENTENCED IN BRENHAM DISTRICT COURT
Seven people have been sentenced in the latest edition of 21st District Court.
55-year old Dana Keith McDonald of Huntsville was sentenced to 14 months in prison for Theft of Property Between $2,500 and $30,000 – a State Jail Felony.
31-year old Samuel Castillo, Jr. of Brenham, sentenced to 12 months for Injury to the Elderly – a State Jail Felony.
31-year old Cody Wayne Hoefelmeyer of Brenham, sentenced to nine months for Possession of Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.
31-year old Aaron Lee Collins of Brenham, placed on eight years’ probation on two counts: Burglary of Habitation – a Second Degree Felony; and Exploitation of the Elderly – a Third Degree Felony. He was also ordered to perform 200 hours of Community Service.
24-year old Colby Alan Barham of Washington, placed on eight years’ probation for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon – a Second Degree Felony. Barham was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 250 hours of Community Service.
30-year old Jose Ricardo Chavez of Bryan, sentenced to three years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony. Chavez was also fined $500 and 200 hours of Community Service.
And, 24-year old Carlos Ortiz of Brenham, placed on three years’ probation for Possession of Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony. Ortiz was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of Community Service.
