HOME DEVELOPMENT TOPS JANUARY BUILDING PERMITS

  

Residential development led the month of January for building permits issued by the City of Brenham.

Eight new homes were permitted in January for $952,080.  The largest home permit was issued to Ambit Homes, LLC for $250,000 for a new home in the 1200 block of Pecan Street.

The largest individual permit of the month was for $260,000, issued for interior remodeling and additions to a home in the 1600 block of South Jackson Street.  The city issued 13 permits for residential additions in January for $492,417.

The city issued 29 permits in January worth $1,703,222.  Last January, 34 permits were issued for $4,190,738.
