The Washington County Regional Vaccination SubHUB is reporting that they have received another 3000 vaccine doses and have reopened the online pre-registration at www.localevent.info.  Once pre-registered, you will be contacted by an agent, in the order the form was received, to set up a vaccine time slot.  The SubHUB is warning people that the call to them may by listed as SPAM on their phone.  They are requesting that people answer the call anyway, and the caller will immediately identify themselves.  If the call is truly SPAM, simply hang up.  Only those in the 1A or 1B categories are currently eligible in the State of Texas to receive the Corona virus vaccine.  Phase 1A includes front-line healthcare workers and residents at long-term care facilities.  Phase 1B includes people who are 65 or older or people with a health condition that increases risk of severe COVID‑19 illness.

Full Press Release for the SubHUB:

The state allocated 3,000 vaccines to the subHUB this week. Online pre-registration has reopened and available at www.localevent.info. Once pre-registered, you will be contacted by an agent, in the order the form was received, to set up a vaccine time slot. The Google hosted form allows you to enter your information. If there is a large number of people attempting to fill out the Google form at the same time, be aware it may take time and/or the page may need to be refreshed. Pre-registration will reopen when all those on the list have been vaccinated. This cycle will continue as long as the state continues to allocate vaccines to the subHUB.

Please note that the phone number from the subHUB could potentially be listed as SPAM in the caller ID if your phone has such a filter. Calls may be listed as 979- or 800- on the caller ID. We are urging everyone to answer the call. If it is a call from the subHUB, then the agent will immediately identify themselves as such. If the call turns out to be a true SPAM call, simply hang up and do not engage with the recorded message or caller.

Updates about the subHUB are made often and can be found at the following locations:

  1. Kudos to the county. We are so impressed by how efficiently this week’s vaccinations were given out. Thank you to all who worked so hard to make it happen.

  2. If you’ve received your first dose of the vaccination will you be called back for the second half or do I need to register again?

    1. They should have scheduled you for the second one right away. When you got the first vaccine you should have gotten a card with your return date and time on it.

      1. Apparently not all of the cards given out at the Expo have return dates on them. I have been told that the call center will call you with the date for your second shot.

    2. It is my understanding that you will be given a reminder call as the date approaches. They should have given you a date for your second dose when you were called for the first dose. I do know that you must get both doses at the same place.
