SETH BROESCHE MEMORIAL RODEO SATURDAY, SUNDAY AT BRAZOS EXPO
The memory of a Somerville man killed nearly five years ago in a car accident will be honored this weekend at a rodeo event in Brazos County.
A variety of rodeo activities will take place tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday at the Seth Broesche Memorial, held at the Brazos County Expo Center in Bryan.
The memorial rodeo event gets underway tomorrow morning with a cowboy auction at 8 a.m. and roping at 10 a.m. in the south arena. The ranch rodeo will be held in the north arena starting at 1 p.m. In the evening, there will be a live auction and a dance featuring entertainment from Wesley Westbrook.
Activities continue Sunday morning with team roping and steer roping at 10 a.m. in the south arena.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Seth Broesche Memorial Scholarship Fund, benefitting area students.
