LOCAL GYMNASTS MEDAL AT WEEKEND INVITATIONAL

The Velocity Gymnastics Team competed in the Sweetheart Invitational this past weekend.  The Xcel Bronze Team won first place in the Team Division.  Adalyn Chovanec placed 1st in All-Around, Kinsley Koehl placed third, Sawyer Jensen placed fourth and Leighton Musslewhite placed 7th.

The Xcel Silver Team also won first place in the Team Division.  Gabriella Brannon placed 1st in All-around.  She also won Gold on Vault, Silver on Bars, Bronze on Beam and placed fourth on Floor. Blakely Kalkhake placed second in All-Around.  She won Gold on Bars, Silver on Vault and placed fourth on Beam.  Molly Felder won first place in All-Around in her division.  She won Gold on Bars and Floor, Bronze on Vault and placed fourth on Beam.

The Xcel Gold Team also won first place in the Team Division.  Charlie Ann Alford and Brooklyn Gaertner tied for the Bronze medal in All-Around.  Charlie Ann also won Silver on Bars.  Brooklyn Gaertner won Gold on Bars and Bronze on Vault.  Addie Bogan placed fifth in All-Around.  She won Bronze on Bars, fourth place on Floor and fifth place on Beam.  Lucy Hoescle placed first and Lindsey Anderson placed second in All-Around in their division.  Lucy also won Gold on Bars, Beam and Floor and Bronze on Vault.  Lindsey won Gold on Vault, and Silver on Bars, Beam and Floor.
