BRENHAM, BURTON ISDs CANCEL CLASSES THROUGH THURSDAY

  

Due to continued rolling blackouts and freezing weather conditions, Brenham ISD has cancelled remote and face-to-face classes through Thursday.

Remote classes were cancelled this (Tuesday) morning for the remainder of the day, and will remain cancelled until at least Friday.

The school district said its main focus is to make sure students are safe and warm, and plans to continue monitoring power outages and road conditions.

Brenham ISD will provide updates regarding the possibility of classes on Friday.  Those updates will be provided via email, on www.brenhamisd.net, and on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Burton ISD has also announced that classes through Thursday have been cancelled.
