BLACK HISTORY MONTH SEMINAR SET FOR MONDAY NIGHT
Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church of Brenham is hosting its 4th Black History Month Zoom seminar this Monday night (2/22).
The topic is “The 2020 Election: Texas and Beyond.”
The discussion will be led by Cecil Webster of the State Democratic Executive Committee, with assistance from Washington County Democratic Party Chair George Dillingham, former Washington County Commissioner candidate Shirley Harris-Jackson, and California State University – Northridge Professor Emeritus James Dennis Jr.

Last week’s scheduled seminar on “The Effects of COVID-19 on Youth in the Community” was canceled due to inclement weather, but is rescheduled for March 1st, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
