BOIL WATER NOTICES LIFTED FOR CENTRAL WASHINGTON CO. WATER SUPPLY, WEST END WATER SUPPLY
Boil water notices have been lifted for customers of Central Washington County Water Supply Corporation and West End Water Supply Corporation in Industry.
Central Washington County Water Supply Corporation announced it has provided the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) with laboratory test results indicating that its water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of this (Monday) morning.
The public water system said it has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water it distributes for drinking or human consumption purposes. The system issued a boil notice on February 18th.
Meanwhile, West End Water Supply Corporation lifted the boil water notice on Sunday, after it went into effect on February 17th.
Water customers with the Cities of Brenham and Burton remain under boil water notices.
