BRENHAM POLICE SEEKING INFORMATION ON HIT-AND-RUN
Brenham police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a recent hit-and-run.
According to police, a driver struck a pedestrian on Friday at about 5:45 p.m. in the 600 block of West Main Street, near the Center Drive In gas station.
Police say the vehicle, described as an older model two-door Chevy pickup truck either black or dark green in color, left the scene without rendering aid or providing information to the pedestrian that was struck.
According to Officer Marley Mayo, the vehicle ran over the pedestrian’s right foot and leg. Mayo said the victim suffered a broken bone in her foot, but no other injuries were reported.
