Robert Hauck was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 1 p.m. Saturday, about four miles northwest of Magnolia.

According to DPS Sergeant Stephen Woodard, Hauck was driving southeast on FM 1774 and was approaching the intersection of Riley Road.  Woodard said Hauck then, for an unknown reason, drove off the roadway into a ditch, striking a traffic light pole.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.
