43RD ANNUAL BLUE BELL FUN RUN INCORPORATING IN-PERSON, VIRTUAL ELEMENTS
Runners around the Brazos Valley will soon make their way to Brenham for the 43rd annual Blue Bell Fun Run.
The annual fundraiser for Brenham High School athletics was exclusively virtual last year, but this year’s event will allow a limited number of in-person participants, while still allowing runners to take part virtually.
The in-person event will be held on April 10th beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Brenham High School. Virtual runners can participate April 4-10.
Routes are available for the 5K, 10K and half-marathon. The Kids’ 1-mile run will only be held virtually.
All participants over 2 years old will be asked to wear face coverings while in the staging areas, and can remove them once they have passed the start line and can physically distance themselves from other runners. All volunteers, staff and sponsor representatives will be required to wear a face covering.
Each participant will receive a coupon for a pint of Blue Bell Ice Cream, a commemorative medal, and a t-shirt.
Early registration ends on March 31st. Participants can register online at http://bluebellfunrun.com.
