‘FORGED IN FIRE’ COMPETITORS VISITING BELLVILLE APRIL 2ND, 3RD

Blacksmithing enthusiasts will soon be able to meet and learn from contestants on The History Channel’s popular “Forged in Fire” show in Bellville.

Cowboy Szymanski, who competed in the first season of the show, invites the public to meet and interact with dozens of his fellow competitors April 2nd and 3rd at his blacksmith shop, Phenix Knives.  The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Guests will be able to meet “Forged in Fire” bladesmiths, see live demonstrations, get pictures and autographs, purchase original forged blades, and tour the blacksmith shop and the 1896 E.O. Finn building, known as the Carriage House.

As part of the admission-free event, Phenix Knives will donate a custom forged knife to the Bellville Engineering, Science and Technology Booster Club.  Proceeds from a drawing for the knife will benefit the club’s summer science camp and scholarship fund.
