AROUND 1,200 TICKETS SOLD FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. FISH FRY

  

The Brenham Fire Department served up another successful fish fry Friday.

Around 1,200 tickets were sold for the drive-thru-only fish fry held at the Fireman’s Training Center.

Fire Department President Billy Ruemke says while the event was different from previous years, the public still came out in a big way to support local firefighters.

 

Ruemke says proceeds from the fundraiser go toward new firefighting equipment and upgrades to the Fireman’s Training Center.
