LEE CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE WORKING TO IDENTIFY MAN FOUND DEAD IN ROADWAY

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man found dead in a roadway.

According to Captain Jack Allen, the Sheriff’s Office received a report just before midnight Saturday of a man lying in the roadway on County Road 306 in the Blue area, west of Lexington.  When EMS arrived, they discovered the man was deceased.

Cpt. Allen says the man has not yet been identified, but he appears to be a Hispanic male ranging in age from the mid 20’s to early 30’s.  The man has black hair with a military style haircut, brown eyes, and thin build.  He was wearing a tan G-shock watch and a red yarn necklace, and also has “Timothy” tattooed on his left forearm.

Anyone with information on the man’s possible identity is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 979-542-2800.
