BLUEBONNET MASTER GARDENER ASSOCIATION HOSTING ANNUAL PLANT SALE APRIL 10TH

The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association is preparing to host its 18th Annual Plant Sale.

Wide varieties of plants will be available for purchase on Saturday, April 10th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Levine Park in Sealy, at the pavilion across the street from Sealy City Hall.

Some of the plants available this year include roses, “Texas Superstar” plants, “Texas Native” plants, “Earth Kind” plants, succulents, butterfly friendly plants, ground covers, herbs and bushes.  There will also be rain barrels, planters and other garden items.

All plants are locally sourced to ensure they are climatized for this area.  Several expert Master Gardeners will be on hand at the plant sale to help customers find plants and give them instructions for how to care for them.

Proceeds from the sale help Bluebonnet Master Gardeners support their four counties—Austin, Colorado, Fayette and Washington—with college scholarships, community gardens, free-to-the-public “Lunch & Learns,” and other local activities.
