CITY OF NAVASOTA HOSTING 19TH ANNUAL TRASH OFF SATURDAY
The City of Navasota and Keep Navasota Beautiful will host the 19th Annual Trash Off this weekend.
Registration and check-in will be held Saturday from 8 to 9 a.m. at Brule Field, located across from the Navasota Center at 101 Stadium Drive.
Teams will be assigned to various locations throughout town. Clean-up activities will begin once assigned and continue until closing ceremonies at Brule Field at 11:30 a.m.
Awards will be given to the largest group of volunteers, the youngest volunteer, and the strangest item found. There will also be a drawing.
Supplies will be provided, and breakfast and lunch will be served to volunteers. Closed-toe shoes and pants are recommended.
Masks will be required, and social distancing will be enforced.
