COMMUNICATIONS PROFESSIONAL TO SHARE PERSONAL BRANDING TIPS AND TOOLS IN BLINN PRESENTATION
The Blinn College District invites the public to learn how to make the most out of their first impressions with local marketing and communications consultant Tim Gregg during a 10 a.m. Zoom presentation on Friday, April 9.
Part of the Communication Studies Speaker Series, Gregg’s presentation, “Build Your Brand,” mostly will follow a question-and-answer style format. The event is free and open to the public, and can be watched here.
Prior to the Zoom event, Gregg has launched a website at www.timgregg.com/buildyourbrand specifically for the Blinn community that provides insight on how to create and manage a compelling personal brand. Gregg’s live Zoom session will enable participants to ask questions and offer comments based on the content of this website.
“Whether you know it or not, you have a personal brand,” Gregg said. “Personal branding helps you identify and communicate your unique strengths to differentiate yourself from your peers.”
Gregg is a former award-winning radio sportscaster, public relations director on the international women’s tennis tour, and longtime marketing and communications consultant. A self-described storyteller, he is the author of eight books, including “RELLIS Recollections,” chronicling the history of the RELLIS Campus during its days as Bryan Army Air Field and Bryan Air Force Base, and “Moon Shots,” the life story of Major League Baseball player and Texas A&M University alum Wally Moon. In 1998, he founded Turn-Key Enterprises, a full-service marketing, communications, and public relations consulting firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Oklahoma. He lives in College Station.
