BLINN BOARD APPROVES RELOCATION OF OIL AND GAS DRILL SITE

  

The Blinn Board of Trustees approved the relocation of an oil and gas drill site on Blinn College District property at its meeting today (Tuesday).

In the lone action item on the agenda, trustees approved the request of GeoSouthern Chalk II, LLC to relocate a 5 acre oil and gas drill site, along with an accompanying access easement, to another area of the College’s property in Washington County.

The College owns the surface of 186.8 acres located in Washington County.  The drill site and access easement were reserved by previous owners of the property.
