BRENHAM MAN KILLED IN WEEKEND MOTORCYCLE CRASH
A Brenham man was killed Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident off of Highway 290 in Brenham.
Just after 12:45 p.m., Brenham police officers responded to the 1800 block of Highway 290 East, near the Brenham Saddle Shop, for a report of a crash without entrapment.
According to Community Resource Officer Marley Mayo, witnesses saw the motorcycle hit the median curb on the on-ramp of the highway, causing it to flip and roll on top of the driver.
Police say 68-year-old James Harl was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
