BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER HIT-&-RUN ACCIDENT
A Brenham woman faces charges after a hit-and-run crash, early Sunday morning.
19-year-old Zulma Gomez was arrested after police responded to a crash just after 3:00 a.m., in the area of South Austin and Charles Lewis Streets.
Following an investigation, Gomez was arrested for Failure to Comply Upon Striking a Fixed Object.
Gomez had suffered injuries and was transported to Baylor Scott and White Hospital, where she remained due to the extent of her injuries.
A warrant for her arrest will be issued after she is released from the hospital.
