LOCAL TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES

A Navasota woman faces drug charges after a Brenham traffic stop, Saturday night.
18-year-old Chastity Stephenson of Navasota was pulled over in the 2200 block of South Day St., just after 10:00 p.m.
An investigation led to her arrest on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.
Stephenson was taken to the Washington County Jail.
