FRUEHLING SAENGERFEST APRIL 25TH IN BELLVILLE
The Bellville Lions Club and the Bluebonnet Chapter of the Texas German Society are preparing to host the 18th Annual Fruehling Saengerfest.
Held on the fourth Sunday of each April, the German spring singing festival is set for April 25th at Concordia Hall, located at 952 South Tesch Street in Bellville.
German music and food will be the draw of the day, featuring performances from groups such as the Bellville High School Polka Band, Enzian Baum, the Round Top Brass Band, and The Dujka Brothers. Plates of barbecue chicken and sausage will be served for $12 starting at 11 a.m.
There will also be a 5K Run with the Bellville Lions at 9:30 a.m., a cornhole tournament, strong arm and beer sippin’ contests, a cake walk, German vendors, and free kids activities.
