A settlement offer from former Brenham Fire Chief Ricky Boeker is up for discussion in an executive session of the Brenham City Council, Wednesday.
The city will meet with Boeker’s attorney in closed session. That meeting will also include City Attorney Cary Bovey, and is expected to address, “claims alleged against the city and associated matters.”
Last month, Boeker was abruptly asked to retire early by City Manager James Fisher. It was expected Boeker would retire early but was suddenly fired by Fisher, April 7.
Boeker, who’s been with the department since 1988, has been the city’s first paid fire chief since 2008.
Wednesday’s meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. at city hall.
