BRENHAM ISD CHOIR RECEIVES THREE SWEEPSTAKE AWARDS
For the first time in school history, the Brenham High School Choir has won three Sweepstakes at the UIL Region 27 Concert Sight Reading Competition.
The three high school choir groups, Cub Choir, Women's Chorus and Varsity Chorale, brought home Superior ratings, earning trophies at the competition, held April 15th at the Brenham High School Auditorium.
Director of Choirs Amanda Seymour, says the judges mentioned how impressed they were with the Brenham students and complimented them on their professionalism and work ethic.
Seymour says the students have overcome many obstacles this year and are stronger because of it.
