‘JEWEL’ NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Jewel” as its Pet of the Week.

Jewel is a medium-sized hound mix under a year old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say Jewel loves people in a quiet and shy way and enjoys leaning into the ones she holds dear.

Staff say Jewel, who is spayed, has proven to be great with other dogs who are as friendly as she is, so she would be a great fit for families with a dog in need of a companion.

Anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can visit www.petfinder.com to see the shelter’s available pets.  Appointments to meet a pet can be made by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.  The shelter is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
