HOUSTON WOMAN ARRESTED ON LOCAL ASSAULT CHARGE

Brenham Police have arrested a Houston woman after she allegedly threatened people with her vehicle.
Authorities were called out just after 6:00 a.m. to a business in the 2700 block of State Highway 36 South to a suspicious vehicle.
At the scene, employees told police a woman was intentionally accelerating her vehicle toward them in a threatening manner.
35-year-old Desmonia Jonaye Curtis of Houston, was taken into custody and charged with Simple Assault and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Curtis was taken to the Washington County Jail.
