NEW HOURS FOR CITY OF BRENHAM SPLASH PAD BEGINNING SATURDAY

Starting this Saturday, the City of Brenham splash pad at Henderson Park will have new operating hours.

The splash pad will be open Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.  The splash pad will be closed on Mondays for maintenance and cleaning.

The splash pad, which first opened last June, reopened this spring with reduced hours of 2 to 7 p.m. due to the Brazos River Authority’s (BRA) Stage 1 Drought Watch for Lake Somerville.  As of Wednesday, according to City of Brenham officials, the drought watch remained in effect.
