JUNIOR MAIFEST ROYALTY HONORED AT CORONATION
The Junior Royalty for the 131st Brenham Maifest was celebrated this (Friday) evening at Fireman’s Park in Brenham.

Queen Dinah Grace Sue Neil and King John Paul Kenjura were crowned at the ceremony and reigned over the court of “It’s a Small World.”
Also recognized at the coronation were the members of the 130th Junior Maifest Royalty, who did not have a ceremony last year. Junior Royalty for the 130th Maifest were Queen Harper Joy Huckert and King Tieman Ty Henry Dippel IV, while the theme for last year’s Junior Maifest was “Game Night.”
The Senior Coronation will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 7 p.m., featuring Senior Maifest Queen Clara Ashley Hamilton and King Carter Houston McVean, who will reign over the court of “British Invasion.” The coronation ceremony will be livestreamed on the Brenham Maifest Facebook page.
Tomorrow's Maifest activities begin with the Maifest parade through downtown Brenham at 10:30 a.m. KWHI will broadcast the parade live beginning at 10 a.m. The Maifestival grounds will then open for a full day of celebration, including a home brew contest, beer tasting, food trucks, dance performances, and live music from The Oompahs and The Seven Dutchmen Orchestra. The Brown Sugar Band will perform after the Senior Coronation at 8:30 p.m.
The Mighty Thomas Carnival is open for one final day tomorrow, with hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
